What is DTF printing?
DTF stands for Direct-to-Film. Your design is printed onto a special transfer film and then applied to apparel using a professional heat press. DTF printing produces vibrant colors, sharp details, and durable designs on many different fabrics.
How does DTF compare with screen printing?
DTF printing is ideal for detailed, full-color designs and smaller custom orders because it does not require separate screens for each color. Screen printing is often best for large quantities of simple designs with only a few colors. DTF also makes it easier to reproduce photographs, gradients, fine details, and colorful artwork.
What fabrics can DTF transfers be applied to?
DTF transfers work well on cotton, polyester, cotton-polyester blends, and many other fabrics. Certain specialty materials may require different pressing temperatures or may not be suitable for heat application.
How durable are DTF prints?
When applied and cared for properly, DTF prints are durable, flexible, and designed to withstand repeated washing. The longevity of the print also depends on the garment, correct heat-press application, and proper washing and drying.
How should I wash my custom apparel?
For the best results:

Wait at least 24 hours before the first wash.

Turn the garment inside out.

Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.

Use mild detergent.

Do not use bleach or fabric softener.

Hang dry when possible or tumble dry on low heat.

Do not iron directly over the design.

Can I apply a DTF transfer with a household iron?
A commercial-style heat press is strongly recommended because DTF transfers require consistent temperature, pressure, and timing. A household iron may not provide even heat or sufficient pressure, which can cause improper adhesion.
Do you provide pressing instructions with DTF transfers?
Yes. Pressing instructions are provided with DTF transfer orders. Temperatures and pressing times may vary depending on the transfer and fabric, so always follow the instructions included with your order.
Is there a minimum order?
No. Pearlfect Creations does not require a minimum order. You may order one custom item or apparel for an entire group.
Can I submit my own design or logo?
Yes. If your artwork is ready, you can submit it with your order request. For the best printing quality, please provide a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background whenever possible.
What if I do not have a finished design?
Pearlfect Creations offers custom design support. You may submit your logo, inspiration photo, rough concept, or idea, and we can help bring your vision to life. Additional graphic-design fees may apply depending on the amount of work required.
Will the printed colors look exactly like they do on my screen?
Colors may vary slightly because computer and phone screens display colors differently than printed products. Garment color, fabric type, and artwork quality can also affect the final appearance.
Will I receive a proof before production?
When applicable, a digital proof will be provided for approval before production begins. Please carefully review the spelling, colors, placement, and overall design. Production will begin after approval, and approved designs cannot be changed once production has started.
How long does an order take?
Most orders are completed within 5–7 business days after payment, artwork approval, and receipt of all necessary order information. Larger or more complex orders may require additional time. Shipping time is separate from production time.
Can I provide my own garments?
No. To help ensure consistent quality and proper application, Pearlfect Creations does not accept customer-provided garments.
Can I cancel or return a custom order?
Because custom products and graphics are created specifically for each customer, custom orders are nonrefundable once production has begun. Refunds or replacements are considered when the actual garment or product arrives damaged. Please contact us promptly and include clear photographs of the damaged item.
Are shipping delays covered by Pearlfect Creations?
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery times are outside our control. Pearlfect Creations is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, incorrect addresses, or other shipping circumstances beyond our control.
Can you print copyrighted characters, logos, or trademarks?
Customers must have permission to use any copyrighted, trademarked, or licensed artwork submitted for printing. Pearlfect Creations may decline designs that appear to violate another person’s or company’s intellectual-property rights.
